So there's quite a few ways to go about the topic. #OBS STUDIO RECORDING BLURRY SOFTWARE#It's also possible to get a video encoder that applies a preset on inputs so you don't have to do it in software from your pc, and so it is already "treated" when it's coming into obs. Haven't really looked if it works for streaming tho but, should be good. Today I walk through the setting to help you fix your recording quality. #OBS STUDIO RECORDING BLURRY 720P#You stream with 2000 bitrate, which is much too low for 720p or 1080p. Why your OBS Recordings look so BAD.A lot of people say their OBS recording look bad. #OBS STUDIO RECORDING BLURRY DRIVER#Outside of obs, no such limit exist.Ī worthy mention is also the new SHARPEN filter from nvidia now available in the nvidia driver control panel. The cause of the blurriness is your low bitrate. The most common reason associated with OBS lagging stream is its incompatibility with the device where it is installed. These issues are either figured while recording or playing it across the platform. Not sure if there is a good equivalent for gpu encoding in obs, tho if custom ffmpeg out is an option then perhaps it'll support it from obs. OBS Studio lagging has accounted for among the most common problems encountered by users throughout the world. Try using the streaming options while you record, aka do a recording session with those settings, if it's unwatchable, then there's a major problem with obs itself and not the platform you stream to. Like a camera that can focus really fast. Woth x264 medium on 6000 it shouldn't be blurry, given that you put the profile on high and use downscaling filter bicubic and not lanczos. However "me range" and other x264 settings will alter how much is being processed when it comes to motion, but for just still shots you need above all to have enough cpu/encoder time for the shot. There isn't a fixed answear here for this topic, as it is dependent on hardware/encoder solution, bandwidth restrictions and so on. #OBS STUDIO RECORDING BLURRY PC#A slower preset would probably do wonders, and some experimentation with cubic/lancoz and system settings for fonts etc in addition to encoder settings beyond just setting a fixed preset. Answer: These could affect your stream quality Bitrate Resolution Lag Too low of a bitrate and your PC wont be sending enough data to have a fully rendered frame. That's not the case here tho with OP's pictures. If the encoded feed is already converted and the data is encoded already, its usually fine. If there is a bad conversion of formats, then instantly a lot of data is lost that will lead to a very blurry picture *IF* you feed it from a lossless standpoint. The most important thing is color profile, of all things. Its distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 (or any later version) - see the accompanying COPYING file for more details. If you need anymore information, please let me know. This topic is a lot more complex then just 1 setting here or there as it encompasses all of the data feed and how it is coming in to the encoder. OBS Studio is software designed for capturing, compositing, encoding, recording, and streaming video content, efficiently. If it would help to try and see it while I am streaming, pm me and I can try to setup a time when I can stream for you to check it out. If so, I believe I can change some of the stuff on my end to fix that, like change the bitrate. I don't know if YouTube might have some kiind of system that boost the video quality coming in during the stream, and the play back is the actual quality. But this play back is really, really bad. I had some friends watching, and they said it was clear on their end. #OBS STUDIO RECORDING BLURRY WINDOWS 10#My PC specs are as follows: Windows 10 AMD FX 8350 8core 4. ![]() When I move things get blurry and it is very annoying. If I sit still, everything is sharp and clear, but that makes for dull video. ![]() This video shows a stream of Anthem I did recently. I'm new to OBS-MP and I'm having some issues with my 1080 video game recordings coming out blurry whenever there is motion on the screen. Or, if the stream is fine, but the problem is on YouTube's end. I am not sure if I am just seeing a clearer image (from my YouTube page) when I stream, because of the resolution on my PC at the time. However, when I try to watch the video late on YouTube, it is blurry. I also see on my phone, and it is clear while I am streaming. I have been streaming, and checking on my PC to see if the stream is clear, and it is when I am streaming. ![]()
